This game was #1 in 1995 for the 3DO. I played this game 6 hours before it crashed, but here is what i think and have discoverd. (it might not be 100% accurate) The plot: This is a story of a girl, her clock and the undying wish to live forever (phun intended), though not without her friends, well something goes wrong and they get stuck there forever, but not completly like they thought it would be. Now here you come in, packing your trusty 200 shooter (it never reloads) to save the day. The game: Well its an fps, which i must say isnt the 3do strongest side. But even with its horrible gfx (compared to todays stanadards) it actually has a great game underneath.. Also it got some nice features i havnt seen alot in fps, like FMV charachters which tells a part of the story, they even gives you hints to where you should go. The controls are to a certain degree really bad, but you should get used to them after about 20-30 min. The Sound: It has CD quality music which really suits the game, the sound can be a little repetive , like the ducks in the start scene , which goes as far as being completly irrretating. The ingame speech is done quite well. The playability: Well i think that if you can stick with this title more than 1 hour you will try to complete it. It has 45 set of maps (areas) which are seamlessly integrated. Some of the maps are filled with baddies , while other are filled with clues. I think this game is truly interesting, and recomeend that everyone that has a 3DO atleast tries it. Replay value: Well i havnt gotten this far yet, but there seems to be alot of secrets and items you can miss during your first go, so a second might be needed. But i think this is the kind of game that you play once, then let it collect dust for a couple of years. I give this game a 7 out of 10. Mostly because of its controls. Signing off Frantic Illusion
