REVIEW

INTRODUCTION
Demolition Man is based on the ok movie and is pretty acurate to the movie, but just like the movie Demolition Man is an ok game. It really shines though when it comes to variety, there is a shooting gallery, corridor shooting, car driving, and hand to hand combat. There is a price to pay though.... all those features aren't the greatest. I would have to say the shooting gallery is the funnest though.

GRAPHICS-6/10
Graphics really suck in the corridor shooting! When you are driving the car the car doesn't even turn it just moves back and forth. I thought both of these parts of the game were very poorly done. But the game does get a few points for graphics because of all of the FMV of the movie really saved the game. All the rest of the little mini games like the gallery and fighting are all ok but not great graphics.

SOUNDS-7/10
Voices are done well but are very repitious. Welsley Snipes in the corridor part laughs so much you almost think he's a freakin' hyena. But since all of the voices are mostly from the movie the game itself doesn't really get credit for it. Although Stallone and Snipes did put in time to act out parts of the game I can guarrantee they did put much into it, because they probably didn't get paid much.

CONTROL-4/10
Not much you can do....lets see move the gun site around....uhh push high medium or low punch/kick(which isn't very responsive)......move a car left to right or right to left and move through a very poor doom clone corridor(and were talking very poor!). So the control lacks...well uh more stuff to do!

GAMEPLAY-6/10
If the whole game was just completely all shooting gallery it would be much better. But since it has the cheesy corridor and fighting parts it really sucks! And the car chase isn't that great either and could have been much better. The game can be fun for about an hour but since the fighting is so hard you will probably get frustrated and stop like I did. The corridor shooting is just unexcusible. I mean what were they thinking when they put that together. Did the people who made this think we would have fun running through a rat maze shooting people who look and fall like cardboard cut outs! C'mon! But there is the shooting gallery levels which are very fun!

OVERALL FINAL SCORE-5/10
Average gameplay makes an average game. With horrible graphics and a some of the gameplay this definitly should be stayed away from unless you find it for like 5 bucks. Otherwise save your money or buy a better game(like Super Street Fighter II Turbo!) If you really like games with the little gun site and the guys that pop out and you have to shoot them then I would buy it because that part of it is pretty good.
